Di Cope Fine Art Images
Nature's complex structures inspire my imagination.
I have a sub-conscious stock of abstract references from which to doodle because I am fascinated by organic forms, I may create drawings using cropped photographs, water colour and pen and in this way emulate how nature grows over surfaces.
This micro-drawing may evoke the contemporary sublime sense of viewing minutiae within a vast scale. Colours of dramatic landscapes are reflected in my work, glorious resources of light.
I exhibit in my studio at the Worcester Arts Workshop, the Acre of Art in Wigmore, Hereford.
On March 31st 2012, I shall be joining a team of Artists to create an 'Allotment' at the Mac in Birmingham.
All day untill 9 pm. My slot is at 3pm, see links.
